Ykee Benda Bio
Wycliffe Tugume, popularly known as Ykee Benda, is a Ugandan singer and the C.E.O of Mpaka Records. Born on November 11, 1991, in Kampala, Ykee grew up in Kireka and is the seventh of eight children. He exhibited a passion for music early on, singing in church and further nurturing his talent while studying Chemical Engineering at university in Algeria, where he graduated with first-class honors.
Ykee began his music career in 2015 after returning to Uganda and made his mark by releasing his debut album “Kireka Boy” in December 2017. Additionally, he is an avid football enthusiast and a dedicated Arsenal fan.
