Wonder Jr Bio
Wonder JR is a Ugandan rapper who began his music career in 2010 as part of the rap duo Cyde-1der, based in Bristol, UK. The duo released a mixtape titled ‘Skyfall’ in 2012, which featured their hit single ‘Drogba.’ This track gained significant popularity after soccer legend Didier Drogba endorsed it, sharing it on his social media platforms.
‘Drogba’ featured in a Canadian soccer TV series. In 2014, Wonder JR returned to Uganda and began releasing solo singles such as ‘Tebatusobola,’ ‘Mama Afrika,’ and ‘Hallelujah.’ The latter earned a nomination for Most Inspirational Song of The Year at the 2016 Uganda Hip Hop Awards.
