Josh SB Bio
Josh SB, real name is Joshua Waiswa Timothy, is a Ugandan music producer, rapper, and head of content at Swangz Avenue. He comes from a musical family and was inspired by music from a young age, particularly artists like Michael Jackson and Usher Raymond.
Josh SB began experimenting with music production using FruityLoops software and learning instruments like the drums. Despite initial struggles, he continued honing his craft, creating beats for his brother’s church choir and later producing for the group Soul 5. In 2023, Josh SB released his “God DNA” EP, which features collaborations with artists like Sandra Suubi, MoRoots, and Abigail Barlow. The EP, described as both a club banger and a sermon, was well-received at an exclusive listening party attended by media personalities, industry critics, and fans.
Josh SB’s journey has not been without challenges, including the loss of his studio material and a period of depression, but he has overcome these obstacles. His Christian faith plays a significant role in his life and music, and his growth as an artist and producer is reflected in the “God DNA” EP, which combines personal experiences and spiritual themes. In addition to his music, Josh SB has a passion for photography and storytelling, having created comics during his school years.
