Maurice Kirya said about “Ebigambo”; “‘EBIGAMBO’, translated as ‘WORDS’ is a song written and composed by Maurice Kirya featuring his older brother Vampino. The very melodic feel good song skilfully uses word play to talk about a love that must prevail against all odds. A love that must escape the traps of words filled with false assumptions. The song carries a mix of Kirya’s genre ‘mwooyo’ and a blend of reggae and afro pop. Kirya sings and plays the guitars, Vampino sings the bridge, while Kirya’s long time friend and producer Samuel Bisaso plays the bass. The song was produced in Kampala, Uganda by Maurice Kirya & Samuel Bisaso and later mixed and mastered in Germany at the Lipaka Studios. Arrangements by Maurice Kirya.”
