Lydia Jazmine Bio
Lydia Jazmine, a Ugandan music artist born as Lydia Nabawanuka in 1991 in Masaka district, established her early education at Victoria Nile School and continued her studies at Saint Mary’s School Namaliga and Cityland College Matugga. She graduated in 2016 from Multitech Business School in Kampala with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
Jazmine found her passion for singing during high school, participating in both school and church choirs. Her musical career progressed when she joined the band Gertnum as a background vocalist and later worked with prominent artists like Radio and Weasel, Bebe Cool, and Sheebah Karungi. Her debut single, a duet with Rabadaba titled “You Know”, launched her into the music industry around 2014.
